They have a variety of standard Thai dishes at great prices and Carson Herman ‘19 agrees because “It is the perfect place for any occasion! Want to have some quality alone time with the cute girl in your guitar class? Take her to Star of Siam! Want a night out with the gals? Hit up the Star of Siam! Have a family dinner coming up? Suggest the Star of Siam to make your family time into a fun time! Great food. Great location. AND you get to sit on the floor to eat!” This restaurant is already pretty well know around Whitney Young and around Chicago, and people are not disappointed with their meals.

Star of Siam is family friendly, has great service and great food; everyone loves it no matter what their age. “I love Star of Siam and my family goes there all the time” says Justin Chen class of 2019. Some of the customer’s favorite dishes include Pad See Eiw, Pad Thai and Mild Curry Chicken. The Pad See Eiw comes with wide noodles, pieces of egg, your choice of chicken or beef and Chinese broccoli that’s always just the right texture. Not only is it delicious and cooked to perfection, but the serving sizes are always generous as well. The curry is a little bit spicier: made with potatoes, chicken and peas.
