I miss the old Disney. Classic old shows Disney, characters who had goals Disney. I hate the new Disney. What is the plot, Disney? Gosh, I must be getting old, Disney!

   Disney channel has released a parade of new shows such as Raven’s House, Bizaardvark and Stuck in the Middle and none of them can hold a candle to old favorites such as American Dragon: Jake Long and Phil of the Future. To even make the comparison is pitiful. These shows have no sustenance and now I feel like a cranky old timer reminiscing about the good times that weren’t even that good. But these times were, gosh darnit! “Disney Channel hasn’t been good since the Ant Farm,” say Veronica Perkins ‘18. Do you remember when Disney Channel had movies about finding yourself, or combating racism, or even getting Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan to work together? Now we have movies like Zapped, about an app that controls boys? What are we supposed to get from that? That men are unmanageable unless a pretty girl is using her phone? “ It sucks! Just disgusting, the shows used to be so great,” say Karina Santiago ‘19. Yikes Disney…

  But at least Disney is attempting to make a comeback.  Now, if you stay up into the wee hours of the morning you can catch Disney Replay. Basically Disney made an apology to everyone for their less than up to par new shows and movies by playing old ones such as Lizzy Miguire or Kim Possible.

       Disney, you  haven’t completely failed us yet. We’ll be waiting to see what you come out with next Disney.
