UIC Gun Violence
Recently, on March 1st in the West Loop area in the UIC campus, a person was robbed by an armed suspect. The victim was a male and the time of the crime was during the 7 o’clock hour.

Recent gun violence issues have been in the media a lot, and these concerns are becoming a major problem. Many politicians have been debating these issues and many citizens have been debating the issues as well.

Not only is gun violence an issue but so is the violence in the city of Chicago. Chicago is known for its crime rate, but in the past few years rate have been raised higher than ever. Many people need to take situations such this and reflect on how not only as a city but as a nation we need to improve.
