It’s often hard to fit in if you are different or have a different outlook on life, but Liza Koshy has brought over 12 million people together to celebrate her weird and out of the box personality. Liza Koshy is my idol, I’ve been told many times in my life that I’m too weird, too quirky, and too silly. Watching her makes me feel more secure with my silly side and inspires me to not be afraid to show parts of my personality I often keep hidden.

Liza Koshy started out on Vine and quickly became famous because of her hilarious facial expressions and quality to make a joke out of almost anything. Moving from Vine to Youtube was a breeze as her followers literally followed her across the social media wall. After watching almost all of her videos I can report I have never once not laughed out loud at her witty humor. I’ll be in the middle of lunch and suddenly just break the silence with the loud ring of my horse like laugh, I’ll get many weird looks but it’s worth it. She never fails to lift my spirits whether it’s with her silly puns or her making jokes with her hilarious boyfriend.

She recently inspired a DubTV skit here at Whitney Young, as me and my funny friends run around Target making the weirdest puns you have ever heard. This was inspired by her hilarious IKEA video where she walks around making puns out of the funny labels on packaging.

Liza Koshy is also becoming popular outside of the YouTube community with a lead role in the Hulu original show Freakish and her new Beats commercial where she shows her one of her hilarious characters Jet being chased by a mob of girls. If I do say so myself quite a lady killer ;). Her humor and personality shines through everything she does and I strive to be like her. At the end of every video Liza Koshy ends with “little brown girl is out biiiiiii”. So it’s only right to sign off with little white girl is out biiiiii!
