Top 5 Songs in Logic’s New Album “Everybody”

Alex Rodea, Musical Genius

On May 5th, 2017 Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, known as Logic, released his album “Everybody.” Logic has produced 7 projects in 7 years, making him one of the most consistent artists to date. Being born to a white mother and an African American father who were both addicted to drugs, Logic explains the vicissitudes in his life as well as problems seen in society today. This album has been seen as “preachy” to some but pure genius by others. Logic attempts to reiterate the fact that everybody is born and should be treated equally, and that other cultures are beautiful and should be embraced. Also, that no matter what circumstance, whether it be excessive anxiety or depression, life is worth living. These are the top 5 songs in Logic’s album:

  1. 1-800-273-8255 ft. Alessia Cara & Khalid
  2. Everybody
  3. America ft. Black Thought, Chuck D, Big Lenbo & No ID
  4. Black SpiderMan ft. Damian Lemar Hudson
  5. Killing Spree ft. Ansel Elgort

These songs encompass race, identity, social media and how people are aware of violence. They prove to have the most resounding meaning out of all of the 13 songs in Logic’s album. It can be debated otherwise but these songs provided depth to his album. Logic’s third album “Everybody” may have a lot of points of discussion, but it is still a very meaningful album.
