On Tuesday, March 1st, the WY Boys Basketball team won their Regional Semifinal game against Schurz High School. The Dolphins put up a strong performance and won the game with a final score of 72-42. Although the Dolphins handled Schurz with relative ease, it is only the first step in a long road through the State tournament. As a result of the win, WY will face either De La Salle High School or Leyden High School (depending on who wins tonight’s Regional Semifinal game) in the Regional Finals taking place on Friday, March 4th. The game will take place at WY, so come out and support your fellow Dolphins as they continue their journey in the State tournament.
