Valentine’s Day is approaching so much quicker than anyone has anticipated. And that’s why I am here, to help you love birds figure out three perfect gift ideas to give your significant other. If you’re single like me, don’t worry, I also have gift ideas for you to give to your family and loved ones. Okay so first, the most universally loved and for a good reason, we have; Chocolates. I know, I know. You’re probably thinking like Kayla Bilal ‘19, “ but chocolates are so cheesy and boring”. But hear me out, you can spice it up a little. Think of another snack or food that they really love and pair that up with some chocolate. For example, if you’re like Isaiah Alvarez ‘19 and you say, “ my favorite fruit are strawberries”, then you can mix it up and buy them chocolate covered strawberries instead of just chocolates by themself.

Another great gift you can give to your special someone you can’t buy at the store which makes it even more special. This gift you make yourself. You can just take a regular cardboard box and cover it in pictures of great memories you have with them and then fill it with things that they love or things that remind you of your favorite moments with them. Don’t forget to add in cute little notes for each object, food, etc. that you choose to put in. I mentioned this idea to Katie Li ‘19 and she absolutely loved it. She thought it was, “ such a cute idea and it really showcases how much the cares because it’s always the little details that mean the most.”

Okay so we’ve approach our final gift idea. It kind of combines both the first idea and the second. Think of the one of their favorite things they love to do. Then plan to take them to do exactly that and once you get there surprise them with even more stuff they love. Oh and by the way, you’re included in those things they love, just wanted to remind you, incase you forgot. They will have a blast and have all their favorite things with them.
