The Whitney Young Boy’s Lacrosse team is looking for some interested players! The Whitney Young Boy’s Lacrosse is a great way to meet new people, with the team having kids not just from our school, but Walter Payton and Jones as well.

The Whitney Young Boy’s Lacrosse team boasts 6 city championships in a row, and is a great way to relieve some stress, and is a great work out. During the season we have practices from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm every day, where we have coaches from different places teach the kids the necessary skills to succeed in the lacrosse field. I asked some current Whitney Young Lacrosse players on why they love the sport, and here’s what they said: Dominick LoCoco ‘21, says “Hanging with the boys and rippings twine are the two best things on the face of this Earth.” James Rocky ‘20 says “I like lax because of my bros”, and last but not the least Mika Cavanaugh ‘20 says “Lacrosse is a great way to stay active, make good bonds and relieve all the stress you have.”
