Bred 1’s Jordan Release

Yen Lee, Editor

During February 24th this year, Nike dropped again the famed “Bred” colorway (Black, White, and Red) Jordans at various stores and apps. The toes on this version of the Bred’s were black this time around, different from the white original and the material was slightly different leather. Some people didn’t like the synthetic feeling this time around and Catherine Zdunek, 18’ stated “it’s a really nice color way and I did get it for retail price but the shoe odes feel a little weird from the original”. Although they seem to be release in a lot of locations around the states, there was a very limited amount of shoes provided to each stores, with some having only 2 pairs.

Jordans have slowly regained popularity amongst the hype with Adidas as Yeezy resale prices have been dropping slowly.  The problem stays however, that Nike has yet to release a new shoe that is hype and isn’t just a remake of an original shoe.  People like Josh Harvey, 17’ “their red and black and cool but its been done so much that I no longer really understand the difference between the shoes.
