Jigsaw Movie Review

Wondering if you should spend your money on a ticket to see Jigsaw? It’s worth the trip!!! This movie, based on the original Saw movies, focuses on a new group of victims who are faced with stakes that include their lives. The movie begins with five people who wake up in a room and are greeted by a mysterious voice. After coming to their full senses, they realize that they are chained to a wall and are slowly being pulled toward sharp blades. This is only the first of the deadly activities that the killer has planned for the five.

Outside of the game, every time someone is killed, their body is displayed in a public for the authorities to discover. When the find the first body and take it to the coroner, they are told that this looks like the work of the Jigsaw Killer. The only problem is, that in the previous saw movies, Jigsaw was discovered to be dead.

So the question arose: did Jigsaw fake his death, or is somebody  mimicking the cynical “games” that were done by Jigsaw nearly ten years in the past? Watch as the five people fight for their lives and the police fight to discover who is behind these twisted scenarios. After seeing the movie Friday night, Skyler Steele ‘18 said that the movie was “mind boggling and left [her] on the edge of the seat the whole time.” Find out if the Jigsaw Killer, John Kramer, is still alive and working to ensure that individuals can learn to value their lives in this 92 minute thriller.

Trust me, this isn’t something that you want to miss. Don’t be like Kyle Truvillian ‘18, who is frightened by this movie. He thinks “the doll looks like a clown.” You can do it guys, It’s not too late to get spooky.
