Kenneka Jenkins murder investigation has become one of the most talked about topics since the night she was found in a walk in freezer. Investigators so far haven’t provided many details  about the case causing many people on social media to come up with their own stories. The few details we do know is that Kenneka attended a hotel party with her best friend and a few others. The night got very chaotic and within this chaos Kenneka couldn’t be found. Her friends filed a missing person’s report Saturday morning and that midnight she was found dead in a walk in freezer in the hotel.

There are many speculations about the case including the possibility Kenneka Jenkins was set up by her best friend. With many videos surfacing on the internet, some people believe that Kenneka was brought to the party by her best friend to be sold for 200 dollars to a man who was at the party. The idea that this could happen is distressing, as  Siauna Respress, ‘20, stated,” It’s sad that this has happened because you are supposed to trust your best friend.” This rumor is causing many teens and parents to worry about this same tragedy happening to them. Trusting your best friend with you safety and well-being is common among most friendships, but that becomes very questionable when you hear about a teen dying at a party and her best friend might be the reason why. Be careful of who you associate yourself with and always be cautious.
