8 Things to do on Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and there’s so much to do. Valentine’s Day isn’t just a day to celebrate that one ‘special someone’, it’s about the idea of celebrating your love towards everyone in your life. Here are some ideas for how to spend your time.
The much anticipated movie, Deadpool, will be released on February 12, 2016.
The well-known Chicago Theater Week will start February 11th and runs through the 21st. Ticket prices range from $15 to $30.
The Auto Show will be in town at the McCormick Place, it will run from Febraury 13th to the 21st. Discounted tickets are $9.
Garfield Park is a nice place to walk around and appreciate nature while not spending a dime. The observatory is open from 9:00am-5:00pm.
The Adler Planetarium will have free admission for all Illinois residents. This deal starts after Valentine’s Day and runs through the 17th of February. The Field Museum will offer free admission for all of February.

The Shedd Aquarium will be free the two days following Valentine’s Day and the DuSable Museum is free every Sunday of the year.
So whether you’re going out with family, friends or a significant other, remember that these are just a few options for what to do on Valentine’s Day, but the list of ideas is endless.
