School is pretty much over with now. The seniors have finished school and these rest of the students have more or less than a week left of school. With school being over everyone knows what that basically means, Summer is here! Summer is everything everyone looks forward to. No school to worry about, grades, or teacher, everyone can go out and have fun, sleep in late and just be carefree.

Summer is going to be filled with a lot of fun activities. There is going to be festivals, concerts, and a lot more things that people will be able to do this summer. Summer isn’t always filled with fun activities for everyone. A lot of people stay in school to get up on top of their grades for next year or just to get ahead. Those type of people are the overachievers that have a great goal in life and I have all the respect to them.

I talked to Jake kosakowski ‘18 and asked him about what he’s going to be doing for his summer ‘18. “I’m going to be working out getting ready for my season next year, working to have some money in my pocket, and having fun with my friends as much as I can.” And I also talked to Kiara Negron ‘18 and asked her the same thing. “This summer I’m going to be working out with my softball team getting ready for my season and having fun with my friends all summer. I’m very excited!” Now there you go. Seems like everyone is excited for the summer to be finally here and I can’t say the least that I’m with them on the excitement. Cheers to the summer of 2018!
