Prom, It’s coming peeps!

It’s getting close, guys. Before we know it, we’re going to be on our way to prom, ready to enjoy one of the best days of our high school careers. It’s time to start preparing to look and feel as good as you can on the big day. Start going prom dress shopping, planning your promposals, and picking out your colors to coordinate with your date.

First off, girls be prepared to travel around the city looking for the dress of your dreams. I began looking this weekend, and there are a few things I wanted to let you guys know. Most dress stores do not allow food or drinks inside. Unfortunately for me, that means that I had to leave my box of animal crackers behind. Depressing, I know! In addition to this, Sarah Williams ‘18 said, “most of the stores, especially Peaches, do not allow you to take pictures of yourself in the dress”. I feel like this makes it hard for me to compare dresses from different stores, but I guess I have no control over the policies of the stores. If you still haven’t found the perfect dress for you, Clarisse or Morilee are some very nice designers. Go luck on your search!

For those of you that have already found dresses, be sure to keep in mind that prom is in June, meaning that there is time to gain or lose weight. Don’t hesitate to look up ab workouts or whatever else you think necessary for your perfect prom body. Go crazy at the gym. Think about how cute you’ll be on June 1st. That’s your motivation for your workout. You can do it huns.

I haven’t seen any promposals yet, but all I know is that you guys need to go big or go home. “If I’m not impressed, I’m calling the police,” says Skylar Mooyoung ‘19.
