Have you finished all your AP Exams? Or simply tired of putting in effort? Here are my top picks for shows you can watch while avoiding your homework.

The Office

A timeless classic, this TV comedy will keep you laughing no matter where in the show’s eight seasons you decide to start watching. Luckily, “The Office is one of those shows that you can laugh at no matter what is going on in your life,” praises Maddy Flisk ‘17, so you can watch it whether you do or don’t have homework.

30 Rock

This hilarious comedy, loosely based off Tina Fey’s experience as a head writer for Saturday Night Live, describes life as writers and actors on NBC’s “TGS”. Episodes are short and especially easy to binge.

Thirteen Reasons Why

This Netflix drama, based on the novel by Jay Asher and recently picked up for a second season, documents the life of Clay Jensen in the periods before and after the suicide on his best friend and love interest, Hannah Baker. “I finished the show in less than three days,” explains Hannah Baker ‘17. “It’s a must-watch.” Although the show is very serious, it is very easy to binge-watch.

Arrested Development

A comedy about a dysfunctional family and their infinite problems, Arrested Development is one of the funniest TV shows of the early 2000s. “Once you start this show, you can’t stop,” says XingXing Shou ‘17. As rumors of a potential fifth season spread, there is no better time than now to start watching this show.

Whether you have homework or not, there is never a bad time to start a Netflix binge. So pick up your laptop or television remote and start enjoying some of these very popular shows.
