Evening At The Pool

WY has been often recognized as a successful basketball program. Last year, the Dolphins took state in both mens and womens basketball. They also sent multiple players to Division 1 programs, most notably, future 1st round NBA draft pick Jahlil Okafor.

In an attempt to take advantage of the fanbase at WY, the administration is attempting to organize a WY basketball homecoming.

“This year we truly have both a talented boys and girls basketball team, so we’re excited to see the reception, and give the student body another opportunity to have a good time,” said Slaughterhouse president Aram Wilkinson ’15.

Accompanying the game will be the typical homecoming festivities, mostly likely replacing the winter formal that has taken place in past years.

“In big games like this, we only have one job: win. After that, everything else will fall into place,” said Chris Everett ‘15.

The date for the upcoming gala is Feb. 14.
