Look better with a beard

Rachel Brown, Student Life Editor

There is nothing more attractive than a man with a beard.

A cross between a man and a bear, a man with a beard has a lumberjack appeal to him that can only be matched by the raw elements of nature. A beard is visual evidence that a boy has become a man. Not only does it make one look rugged and strong, but it also protects one’s face during the winter, and we all know a logical man is an attractive one.

A few men who have proven the power of facial hair on a woman’s hormones are Ryan Gosling, George Clooney, and Zach Galifinakis. They have provided sufficient evidence that having a beard can make one more desirable than when one does not have a beard.

It is hard not to be attracted to a man with a beard—a real beard that is. A couple of hairs growing upon a chin does not count as a beard. A real beard has the look and feel of a shag rug found in a suburban house of the 1970s. It should make you feel the need to go out and buy a lifetime supply of flannels, an axe, and move into rural Alaska to join the lumber industry. A real beard is the magnificent making of God and of hair follicles in the face.

A man with a beard has the ruggedness of the mountains themselves. Not only is it reasonable because it keeps your warm in the winter, it will also guarantee to win over the ladies.
