Whitney Young Is to install school P.A. systems in Alumni Homes to Continue Mindful Mondays

John Cena, Writer of course

I am sure you can agree that everyone misses hearing the morning announcements at 7 in the morning when you just wake up. Everyone misses the positivity blaring through the cold mornings right before your test or while you are trying to finish your homework. It really gave us the luck needed to get through the day.

So to help us throughout the pandemic the Chicago Board of Education has agreed to recreate this wonderful feeling by installing a state-of-the-art personal P.A. system in the homes of all attending alumni. This will surely help us just like all the other changes the board has made during this time and even before that. With their outstanding track record, I’m sure we won’t be disappointed. Long time attending Senior Kyle Rodriguez ‘21 agrees that the school has done no wrong and claims, “this is the next step towards the future of education.”

With the new outstanding budget, I am certain the money might surely go to this, I even found a couple of images that showcase what powerful speakers might be installed. Local rapper Big Shiesty stated, “ I made my first mixtape on Radio Shack speakers.” So we can immediately assume our P.A. system will be bumping since Big Shiesty 5000 has songs like, Stay in School and I Do not like wearing crocs at the beach

I am sure you are all wondering how they would do it during a pandemic, but that is the good news! You have the pleasure to install them yourselves! Not only that, but it is mandatory! Of course, like all things, it may take a while to be realized, like that time the boys’ bathroom didn’t have a toilet for a month, so expect a new sound system in the coming 1 to 15 months. So just like in class take the time to teach yourself by going to sweetwater and follow the instructions

This is just another one of those things that only the number one school has. After a week of posing as a Jones student, I have discovered that their school doesn’t even have a plan like this in the works! They have dumb things like rest days and alternative schedules to better fit their student’s basic human rights or whatever that means. Former Whitney Young senior had this to say about these upgrades, “Man, you kids, and your technology, when I went to school I had to wait until I got to school to know what was going on!” We really are lucky to have these resources.

You heard it here first guys! Be ready with your screws and saws or duct tape, they’re coming.
