Top 8 Random Activities to Get Your Adrenaline Pumping

Sophie Struyk, Stuident

Are you stuck at home, staring at a wall and wishing you had something to do? Are you missing the rush of adrenaline that you would get from hanging out with your friends and doing crazy activities? Currently, everyone is feeling a little hopeless and secluded in the wake of the current climb of COVID-19 cases, and those normal, fun activities with our friends that brought so much joy before, are put on pause for the moment. You are probably wondering, “Well, what could I possibly do that would get my adrenaline pumping, while also not contracting COVID-19?” Here are eight safe ideas to consider:

  1. Play extremely loud music and go for a walk around your neighborhood. If anyone asks why your music is so loud, sprint away from them as fast as possible.
  2. Pick a cup from your house that you would normally drink from during dinner, or any meal inside your house, fill it up with water and bring it around with you everywhere you go.
  3. Skip everywhere you go. Skipping is fast, fun, and is a bit of a workout.
  4. Take a freezing cold shower and eat an orange at the same time.
  5. Climb up a tall tree and sing “Let it Go” from Frozen at the top of your lungs.
  6. Dress up as any fun, historical figure and walk around as that character through your neighborhood.
  7. Grab a yoga mat and do yoga right in front of a random house.
  8. Watch DubTV 😉

These safe ideas could offer you an escape from your room, and save you from the horrors of being hopelessly bored. Remember, wear your mask and avoid talking to other people in unsafe conditions!
