Feeling lonely during the quarantine?

Are you spending a lot of time bored at home?

Wish you could yell to the sky and scream your lungs out?

Well, you’re in luck. Along with candy, costumes, and an all-around good time. The month of Halloween gives us the beauty and blessings of a good scare.

In case you may be new to the genre, or not too familiar with some of my favorites You really can’t go wrong with the classics. I’ve also included a list of some iconic slashers and thrasher movies. These were huge in the 2000s and almost everyone knows these deadlypsychos. Though the classics are great, the new generation is progressing from those foundations very nicely as well. So I added some modern hits that really showed that progress. Fair warning, these films are filled with gore and bound to cure your loneliness. In case you may be easy to fright, I’ve taken the liberty to add a small list of good childhood Halloween movies.

If you distrust me as a good source, that’s understandable, you don’t know me at all. Take the word of some of your peers:

These are very confusing times. Though it may not be the same as years prior, we can still enjoy the great things this month brings. So go make some popcorn, buy some pumpkin pie, or take the time to decorate your house. Best of all, enjoy a thriller every once in a while. As always stay safe and have a scare!
