Fall Favorites

School’s starting and the weather’s dropping. Fall, many people’s favorite time of the year, is starting soon. That means pumpkin spice lattes, cardigans, scarves, and so much more. Fall means the end of summer, and the end of summer means the end of eighty degree weather and a smooth decline into a nice, comfortable autumn. Even though the beginning of fall also means the start of a new school year there are plenty of students who find something worth enjoying.

No more summer, means no more short pants or short sleeves, and transitioning into more long pants, long sleeves and sweaters. For Megan Bradshaw ‘19 this is no problem because she says, “my closet is 90% sweaters, so it’s nice to have clothes that are season-compatible.” Flannels and sweaters are a fall favorite that never go out of style and are comfortable for anyone of any shape or size.  Everyone enjoys snuggling up in their over sized sweaters to keep warm.

When asked about her favorite parts of fall, sophomore, Grace Wilkerson 20’ said that “Halloween and Thanksgiving” are her favorite holidays. Who doesn’t love Thanksgiving? An endless mountain of your favorite food and being surrounded by your loved ones. Eric Hernandez ‘19 had a lot to say about fall, one of those things being, “It’s the perfect weather for warm soups and hearty meals.” Who doesn’t love stuffing their face with food or sitting by the fire drinking hot chocolate, or a pumpkin spice latte on a cold day.

So while school may not be the best thing about fall, there’s so much you have to look forward to this upcoming season.
