1) Why did you first start playing guitar?
I first started playing guitar in 8th grade because I thought it would impress girls.

2) How did you learn to play the guitar?
I taught myself most of what I know with some help from my Dad and my neighbor Henry Mosher.

3) What is your favorite part about playing the guitar/being in a band?
My favorite part of being in a band is writing songs and recording them. I’ve always been fascinated with how songs get their sound and there are a million different cool things you can do in the studio. I’m a fan of really big production and layering a lot of guitar parts and organs to get a thicker sound. I love figuring out how to translate what we have in the studio to the live show.

4) Where do you play most of your shows and why do you like to play there?
We play a lot of our shows at smaller venues around the city. We’ve played at Beat Kitchen, Schubas Tavern, and Martyrs’ a couple of times each. We like these venues because they’re nice enough to let us play there. We’ll be back at Martyrs’ on June 4th for the release of our new record. We’re playing with some really cool bands and it’s our first show since recording the album so we’re all very excited.
