WY will host their annual open house for academic center and high school applicants on Sunday Oct 19. It is a major event that WY hosts, with about 4,500 attendees for the high school open house alone. WY hosts this event to show parents and students what WY has to offer and why they should make the decision to attend. The AC open house is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the HS open house is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. WY counselor, Augustina Bottari suggests that students volunteer to showcase their clubs and/or sports teams during open house and also needs parent and student volunteers due to the size of the event.
