I’m sure we’ve all heard about (or participated in) Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but have you ever heard of Giving Tuesday? According to Deb Keegan, Whitney Young’s Development Director, “Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving. The nonprofit world decided that there was no better way to start off the holiday giving season than through making a day dedicated to giving to others in need. The nonprofit world came together after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and created a Giving Tuesday.”
