Top Five Reasons Why Your Senior Class Should Do a Grad-Nite at Six Flags

Myles Difilippo

For all of those juniors out there who, at this time of the year, are staring senior year right in the face, you should be starting to think about how you are going to make your senior year as memorable as possible. Of course, you will have senior pranks and graduation parties, but why not add another of those moments to your memories with a Grad-Nite at Six Flags? After All, you will never be in high school again after senior year. Here are the top five reasons why your class should organize a Grad-Nite at Six Flags:

  1. It’s Dark!

Most amusement parks are only open for people to enjoy during the day, while Grad-Nite actually occurs while it’s dark outside. The fact that it is nighttime adds to the suspense and excitement of the roller coasters because you’re not able to see what’s coming next on the track.

  1. The Bus Ride is Very Fun

Whether your class organizes to take school or coach buses, everyone will still have a great time together. You will be on the bus with at least a couple of your friends and if your driver lets you play music that will just add to the fun atmosphere, which will get you psyched to be at Six Flags.

  1. Great Bang for Your Buck

When I went for my Grad-Nite, my classmates and I only paid $65 each. That is the normal cost if you wanted to go one day during the summer, but you also get extra benefits. Those $65 paid for not only the ticket to get in, but also the bus to the park and the shorter lines because only high school kids are at the park at that time.

  1. You Get to Meet People that are Going to the Same College as You

By this time of the year, when you’re a senior, everyone knows where they are going to go to college the following year. This means that some people will be all decked-out in their college merchandise and if you see someone wearing the same college as you’re going to, maybe you could spark up a conversation with them. Who knows? Maybe that will be your new best friend when you go to college.

  1. One of the Last Times You Get to Bond With Your High School Friends

With new and different adventures coming for everyone in the fall, this may be one of the last times you and your high school friends will be together. Yes, it is very sad, and that is why you need to cherish these moments. Being at Six Flags will allow you to take pictures,  take rides and walk around with the ones you will always remember from high school. Hopefully, you and some of your friends will stay in touch over the years.

So, rising seniors, do not forget to schedule a Grad-Nite at Six Flags. It will be a night you will not forget.
