Leo Daley(2018) is a student at Whitney M. Young high school and resides in the Uptown community. He states, “The best part about attending Whitney Young is the diversity, the people, and the freedom he is given.” However, he said the worst part about being a Dolphin is “the focus on the basketball team and how they idolize it more than other teams.” When asked what his future plans were he responded with, “I plan to work this summer, vending at U.S. Cellular fields, practicing soccer, and traveling to Philadelphia.” When asked what interests he has developed, Leo stated, “music, fashion, and positive vibes.” One memory Leo recalled was when he went downstate for the 2016-2017 IHSA Boy’s Basketball. And when asked what is a quote he lives by Leo stated, “Be happy and love.”
