Final Feelings

The first semester is coming to an end and people seem to be feeling all sorts of things because of finals. We have the seniors who have stopped trying and given into the senioritis. We have juniors who are trying their best to get good grades for college applications next year. Then the sophomores and freshmen are 50/50. Either their classes are super easy and they are very relaxed or they are stressed because they goofed off all semester. Many people spend the days before finals on Rogerhub, a website that helps with calculating grades, deciding on whether they need to study or not. Finals have become a very weird time when people are all over the place. Stress levels are very high and kids and pushing themselves to the hardest to finish the semester strong. Here are a couple quotes from different classmates about feelings regarding finals.

Stephen Bell ‘20- “I have a couple of difficult exams this week, but I just hope my grades end up the same way they are now.”

Alondra ‘20- “Finals seem to over stress people out. I think that they don’t seem to be worth as much as we make them out to be.”

Ashley Conde ‘20- “I think this year my finals didn’t feel too difficult because I did the work throughout the semester, but they were still stressful because of mid year reports sent to colleges.”
