Most of you should know by now that a couple months ago, Ella’s corner, one of the more popular restaurants around our school closed down and was replaced by an Indian restaurant named Tikkawala. Well due to not living up to the expectations that the owner or owners may have expected, Tikkawala has closed down and the restaurant we all know and love, Ella’s Corner, is back. The demise of Tikkawala was due to many reasons. Rachel Chan ‘19 claims that she didn’t even know that Ella’s closed down and was replaced with a new restaurant. “I wasn’t aware that Ella’s had closed down at the beginning of the school year. Last year I had heard about Ella’s being replaced with a new restaurant but I didn’t think it was true.” Some students just didn’t want to try out the restaurant’s food. “I haven’t tried out Tikkawala and I don’t plan to,” said Thomas Hayes ‘19. Obviously, us dolphins are excited for Ella’s to be back. Isaiah Young ‘21 says he’s been enjoying their food since his days at Skinner. “I’m really happy about Ella’s return. I went to Skinner so I’ve been going there throughout elementary school. Im happy about it because I really like their food.” Well if you don’t know now you know.
