It is now fall at Whitney Young! While this may just seem like another season, it is one of multiple opportunities and chances to learn about the city of Chicago. On October 3rd, Club Fair will allow you to check out the multiple clubs Whitney Young has to offer and sign up for some that interest you! Other holidays include Columbus Day (which we have off!) and Halloween!

What do Whitney Young students think about fall? They love it! Rose Sosnowski ‘19 exclaims: “I love the weather, chai lattes, and crunchy leaves.” Catie Vaccaro ‘19 agrees, saying “The leaves and the fall candle scents are the best things about fall!”. For those turning eighteen, one can vote for politicians in Illinois according to Asha Edwards ‘19. This is vital for seniors: if you are able to vote, do it! Your vote does count!

Whether you spend your fall joining clubs, enjoying fresh apple cider, or snuggling with your favorite blankets, the season is sure to be one full of memories and good times!
