Kanye West, a man who is known in the media for both his infamous music and his questionable public antics, has recently reactivated his Twitter account, where he shares his personal thoughts and his plans for the future. In his recent spree of tweets, Kanye revealed the news that he plans to continue his music career with the release of two projects in June. He plans to release a joint album with frequent collaborator Kid Cudi on June 8th and release a solo project on June 1st. The project with Kid Cudi, believed to be named “Kids see Ghost”, was rumored to release on New Years of 2018, however, fans were disappointed when the release never came to fruition. Fabian Haro ‘18 says, “Kanye’s music is the only music I’m ever excited for, so him not releasing an album was pretty disappointing.” Kanye’s last album, entitled Life of Pablo, was met with critical acclaim and fans were craving for more music. Jeremiah Bolden ‘19 says, “I love how Kanye was able to mix gospel music with hip-hop and he was able to make such an amazing album.” Kanye is well known for his diverse catalog of music, so it will be exciting to hear what this next album sounds like.
