Bulls versus Hornets

The Chicago Bulls faced The Charlotte Hornets this passed Tuesday, February 27th, and lost 103 to 118. The leading scorers for The Bulls were Zach Lavine and Denzel Valentine, while the scoring leaders for The Hornets were Kemba Walker and Dwight Howard. Kemba Walker and Dwight Howard totaled for 55 points while Lavine and Valentine were only able to put up 35 combined points. The Bulls led in the first quarter and trailed ever since with Howard dominating the paint and Kemba finding his rhythm. This is leading to a 3-7 record over the past 10 games. While the Bulls did show their potential midway through the year they have a long way to be a competitive team in the NBA and are currently at the bottom of the East. Manuel Caracamo’ 18 says, “The Bulls were looking up this year but they’re in rebuild mode. As long as they’re making moves to benefit them in the long run I’ll be along for the ride.” Having the trade deadline pass and no moves have been made it can be assumed the Bulls are waiting for this off season and the promising upcoming draft.
