Super Bowl Preview

Omar Bah

Philadelphia Eagles

Despite injuries to many key players, including starting quarterback Carson Wentz, the Eagles have persevered, showing that as a whole they have been one of the best teams in the NFL, as few thought they would be at the start of the season. Obviously, for them to reach the top of the mountain this season, they must defeat the incumbents, Brady and co. If the Eagles manage to get pressure on Tom Brady and disrupt the timing in the passing game, they will have a great chance at winning the Super Bowl. In this game, I think that there are two x-factors for Philadelphia, both on the defensive line, Fletcher Cox and Chris Long. They will be the key cogs in the unit that tries to stop the potent Patriots offense.

New England Patriots

The prohibitive favorites all season long, the New England Patriots have been unstoppable all season. Honestly, the only thing that could derail the Patriots on Sunday is their defense. That has been a weakness of the squad throughout the season, though it has gotten better of late, with help from Stephon Gilmore and others. The x-factor for the Patriots is Dion Lewis, who I think will have a big game en route to a big win.

My prediction: Patriots 31 Eagles 17
