The Return of Carpool Karaoke

Carpool Karaoke was back again on DubTV Episode 511. While I would like to comment on how much the second episode improved from the first, that is not the case. If anything, the show did not really change at all except for the fact that we are closer to break.

An interesting touch to this version is the lack of actual Karaoke. They did substitute making high pitched noises that sound like the instruments, however, along with increasing the amount of dancing to what was probably the maximum one can do while still driving a car.

What disappoints me is that all of my criticism from the previous article I wrote addressing the show still stands, to the point where I do not feel the need to even address any of those points in this episode.

I and many other viewers simply do not understand the show or its relevance to DubTV as a whole. It is almost as if someone just took a post off of their Snapchat Story and decided to post it for the whole school and any other viewers to watch. This may be fine for some viewers who know those in the show, but the rest of the population does not want to watch a random video that has the equivalent quality as what those who made it would put temporarily on social media.

If those who make the show really would like to make it successful and worth watching, make it more like the Carpool Karaoke that already exists that people enjoy.
