Second semester senior activites

As the end of first semester draws near, I’m sure every senior is excited about the festivities that second semester brings! Even with the stress of college admissions and scholarship decisions, second semester will be a time to make lasting memories. I decided to go around the school to see which senior activity people are looking forward to the most.

Lisa Mei ‘18, a longtime member of our school’s Asian American Club, said she  “Is so excited to shop for my prom dress, I’ve been waiting for this time my whole life.” No doubt countless seniors feel the same way! Aliya Brooks ‘18, a senior member of Guys and Dolls, mentioned “The thing that I’m looking forward to the most is definitely the senior Six Flags Grad Night event. I can’t wait to hang out with my friends and let loose.”

I  look forward to the Six Flags event myself! Madeline Mortell ‘18, the captain of the Girl’s Golf team, said “I can’t wait to get dressed up and party with all my friends at luncheon.” Hearing all of these positive remarks gave me hope for this last semester of highschool. Tensions and stress will dissipate and all of the seniors will enjoy their last few months together. If you’re a senior, email me and tell me what your favorite senior year event is, at [email protected].
