Join French Club!

Erin Choi

Do you have anything to do every other Thursday after school? Do you enjoy French culture and games? Then consider joining French Club! The president Parker Ljung (’18) calls the club “a little French but a lot of fun.”.

The French Club holds meetings in 315 lead by seniors Parker Ljung and Patrick Timlin to bring together students of all ages, ranging from having no experience of French to being completely fluent in the language. You don’t have to speak the language to join the club. At every meeting French inspired snacks are always provided free of charge. Games and activities that involve French culture are also a staple of the meetings, such as competing to make the best Eiffel Tower out of straws and games of Fishbowl. Patrick Timlin (’18) remarks, “Croissants, Nutella, and games? You’d have to be “fou” not to come.”. Not to mention the kids in French club, along with sponsors Monsieur Livergood and Monsieur Cole, are super fun and welcoming, so it’s a great way to make new friends.

Consider coming on down in a couple Thursdays! Contact one of the two presidents, Patrick Timlin, at [email protected] if you’re interested in joining.
