Girls Volleyball is underway!

This fall the girls volleyball season has gone underway. Last year the girls went pretty far in their season ending up with a city championship but coming up short in their state run. I received a quote from one of the senior captains, Brooklyn Irvin, ‘18, on how the season is shaping up and what the team goals are for the season. “Our season is going very well so far. We started off with a win against St. Ignatius for the first time in four years and a  second place finish in the Metea Valley tournament which was a major improvement from last year. Our goals for the rest of the season as a team, to continue our City Championship streak as well as make it downstate and hopefully win a ring. We’re looking good and making improvements each and every day so by the time November rolls around we should be in good shape!”

Recently the girls played Payton College Prep which resulted in a win for the ladies. The Lady Dolphins are in good shape right now heading into the thick of things of their schedule. They’re preparing to play in the Mother McAuley tournament this weekend and hopefully we fellow Dolphins can go support them with all the school spirit we have to offer.
