Eve by Glow is a free women’s health phone application. It allows woma to track your menstrual cycle, physical and emotional symptoms, sex life, and more. There are similar apps to Eve, such as Clue and My Flo Tracker. However, Eve includes multiple exceptional features. First, there is a feature called “Girl Talk,” where women can communicate with each other other about relationship advice, fashion suggestions, or funny stories. Eve creates a community of female empowerment while also serving a purpose. Sierra Orr ‘16 shared, “I am definitely going to check Eve out. It sounds like a super awesome app!” Another exciting feature of Eve is the ability to see a chart of the trends in your symptoms. For example, a woman could see that she always feels cramps on the second day of her period. Through this, women gain a sense of control over their physical health. Amelia Theyn ‘17 explained, “I always forget when my period is supposed to start. Thank you for telling me about this app! I cannot wait to start using it!” Additionally, Eve has a unique feature that calculates your chance of pregnancy. It takes into account your fertile window and heal insights in order to provide women with useful information about ovulation and fertility. Ultimately, Eve is both a valuable source of information and an entertaining vehicle of expression.
