In a school defined by diversity, students unite to demonstrate their heritage and show off WY’s wide variety of student culture. International Night represents a variety of ethnic backgrounds, congregating to create an event that exemplifies the variety of nationalities represented throughout WY. International Night is an event where the student body will show off their heritage through a series of entertaining productions they will put together.

Neghar Sanjar ‘15 is in charge of conducting and organizing the event. The WY international show consists of different cultural performances executed by students embracing their ancestry.

Students can audition in green house on Dec. 16, 17, or 18 at 3:30 p.m. Administration is encouraging students to audition for the show.

Private auditions can be organized by emailing [email protected] for those that cannot make the dates of the auditions.

“Performances can be dancing, singing, playing and instrument, reciting a monologe or poem. Basically any kind of performance as long as it’s appropriate and represents a culture,” said Sanjar.

“I’m really excited to watch the show”, said Phylicia Abraham ‘16. “I think it’ll be interesting to see all diversity in the performance.”

All students are encouraged to attend, as the event will showcase entertainment from around the world.
