A craving for breakfast foods can strike you at any time of the day. But from where? McDonalds and Billy Goats usually stop their breakfast selection by the time lunch periods start coming around.

Never fear—a classic American style diner, Steak N’ Egger located at 1174 W. Cermak is a mere two miles away from WY. The diner, open twenty-four hours seven days a week features both a breakfast and dinner menu. For those who have a longing for breakfast at non-breakfast times, it’s available at Steak N’ Egger.

Their Bacon N’ Egger meal includes three huge, savory bacon strips. Pairing it with hash browns and a cup of Horchata creates the finest combination. The best meal is the T-Bone Steak breakfast. It features a huge steak and always contains juicy meat and the right amount of fat.

On the side, customers have a choice of three eggs and hash browns or three pancakes, each choice along with delicious buttered toast and jelly. The heated up left-overs are just as delectable. Also, don’t worry all you non-meat lovers and vegetarians—their vegetarian dishes (omelets and such) are to die for.

The prices are fairly inexpensive. The breakfast options don’t go past $10 and they all come with an assortment of hash browns and toast. The lunches go up to about the same price.

Not only are the meals wonderful, but the whole ambiance is comfortable. Customers are always greeted with friendly smiles by the staff as soon as they walk in. In the center, there is the main portion where people can sit on barstools and enjoy their food and actually watch the cooks at work, while be surrounded by the openness of windows.

All in all, Steak N’ Egger is a great option for WY students who are looking for a pleasant dining option within their budget, near school. It won’t let you down.
