Since 2009, November has been often dubbed as No Shave November. Men all over the world grow out their beards for the entire month in order to raise awareness for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer. The goal of No Shave November, commonly known as Movember, is to change the face of men’s health – both literally and figuratively.

WY is taking advantage of No Shave November, and using it to not only raise awareness of male cancers, but also to raise awareness for Sanel’s Project. Sanel’s Project was created in order to create and give plant terrariums to patients in hospitals in order to make them feel a little more cheerful. Every male who grows out his beard will seek sponsors to raise money – the WY community will later vote for their favorite beard, with each vote raising an additional 25 cents for Sanel’s Project.

If you’d like to help, vote in Blue House on Dec. 1 & Dec. 2.
