Winter Break 2019

Bence Szabados, Assistant to the Regional Manager

Winter Break is a highly anticipated time of year for everyone. Students, teachers, administration, and everyone who works in the school is ready for a break. Although the sharp transition from sweater weather to a cold, bitter chill is an unwelcome one, it is not something we haven’t dealt with before. Many people go someplace warm to get out of the cold for a bit, but many people also stay in Chicago during break, electing to deal with the harsh cold for two weeks. Here’s what people had to say about the upcoming break.

Madeleine Byun, 20’ stated “I’m not too excited for break, I’m not really going anywhere, so I don’t have that much to look forward to.”

Jahari Walker, 21’ noted “I wish break was here already, I’m going to Mexico with my family and I’ve never been so I’m really excited.”

Ms. Boyle, Social Science Teacher, said “I’m really glad to be able to have a break. I’m not going anywhere, but it will be nice to celebrate Christmas and New Years with my family.”

Whether you are going somewhere over break or not, it is safe to assume we are all happy to have some time to relax.

Happy holidays to everyone!
