Disney +

Do you like shows from the Disney Channel? Enjoy movies made by Marvel Studios? Or perhaps you would like to enjoy a series created by National Geographic? Well, then you’re in luck! Starting on November 12, 2019, Disney is launching its new streaming service Disney+. Disney+ which will allow you to stream the best of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic all on one service.

“I was thinking about subscribing to Disney+, especially since they’re offering National Geographic,” stated, Kennya Delgado ‘20.

Disney+ will give its subscribing members cool features such as unlimited downloads on up to 10 devices, so you can watch your favorite Disney shows whenever and wherever you’d like. Disney +  will also let up to 4 different shows be streamed on 4 different devices at once.

“ I think my family is going to get it since my siblings and I would be able to watch we like on our own devices,” expressed Skylar Matlock ‘24.

In addition to the multiple features that Disney + has to offer, there are also two options for subscribing to the service. Members will have the option to subscribe to the streaming service for 6.99 per month or 69.99 per year.  For some is a reasonable amount to spend, but for others, it may be a bit steep.

Jala Taylor-Pickett, ‘22, said, “I might subscribe for like a month because I don’t have a job so paying seven dollars a month adds up.”

For those who are interested and have the disposable income, Disney+ is available for preorder until its official release date.
