iOS 8 brings new heath app to iPhone users

The new iOS 8 health app can track of the health and fitness of a person. The app tracks heart rate, calories burned, blood sugar, and cholesterol, helping people see how healthy they are.  It can also monitor physical activity through iPhone motion sensors. It can record the health data and medical ID of a person which include: medical conditions, allergies and reactions, medications, and emergency contact. This information can be set as the lock screen on the phone, in case of an emergency.

The most unique part about this is that the owner of the phone is in control of their own data. The data is personal so a user can chose which apps can access it. T he health and fitness information can be backed up in iCloud so data won’t be lost.
