The G and D sow, up close and personal was a great show. It consisted of great musical selections which amazing dancers throughout the shoq. Dancers that received a lot of recognition through the show was Nyla David, Isa Sanchez, and Kristen Reid, they performed highly and the crowd rewarded them for that. The dances were almost all cohesive and blended well with each other. A quote from Jeremiah Shade (Class is 2021) says,” I was so proud of them, they have worked so hard and it does me well to see them do well, because I have a bond with so many of them.” Another quote from Jahi Owens (Class of 2019) says,” coming from once being the class, they came together to perform as one and I was so proud to see all of the work that they had done come together to make everyone happy.” The first two quotes seem to shine a light on two different opinions because of there different relationship to the G and D program. The third quote is from Diamond Stiles(Class of 2020) it says,”This show was really good, and I’m so glad I went because I enjoyed myself and I will be going to the next show.” Though there were small rough patches in performances where they were not dancing as a cohesive, overall the show was great and I would highly support attending it.
