With all the stress as a student, many students forget how to relax. People tend to forget to put themselves first and take care of themselves when they are in the midst of life. I think that it is very important to treat yourself sometimes and do things that you enjoy. For example, if watching a show on TV is something you enjoy, you can reward yourself with some television time after you finish homework. Many people, including myself, get super stressed over procrastination and I think that writing or planning the things and activities you have to complete will make you less stressed. Joselyn 19’ says, “Because of college applications, I have been really stressed and something I do to relax is hanging out with my friends.” Company with friends also helps to destress! Gianna 19’ says, “I really enjoy playing the cello when I am stressed. The music helps me relax and regain focus.” Finding things you like to do often helps people relax and forget about their worries. Crystal 18’ says, “Whenever I am stressed and feel the need to relax, I like to watch some Netflix.” Sometimes we are too caught up in life and we forget to stop and breathe. Remember, always take time for yourself and relax!
